A Truly Special Place – Even Better the Second Time Around
I had the absolute pleasure of returning to this beautiful lodge in this March—and what a special experience it was. Years ago, I was actually the very first guest when the lodge opened, so coming back truly felt like a full-circle moment.
And what can I say? It was even more wonderful than I remembered. The lodge has kept its original charm, but you can clearly see how much love and attention has gone into refining every little detail over the years.
The staff are incredibly warm and dedicated—they genuinely go above and beyond to create the best possible experience for every guest. A special mention also to the owners, who are such kind-hearted and welcoming people. It was a true joy to see them again.
The lodge itself is absolutely stunning, surrounded by beautiful nature. Even though we were a bit unlucky with the weather this time, the safari experience was still outstanding. Our guide and especially Victor, the tracker, were phenomenal. Victor managed to spot animals we would have never seen on our own—his skills are truly impressive.
The food was also amazing—there was a wide variety of thoughtfully prepared dishes, all incredibly delicious and clearly made with great care and creativity.
All in all, this place remains something very special to me. I would come back again and again without hesitation. An unforgettable experience in a breathtaking setting.
