Machangulo Beach Lodge is built into a dune forest overlooking a beautiful bay. For private use and being family-friendly, the lodge is a great getaway for those who love the sea and the delights of a beach holiday.
The lodge’s open and spacious design with cathedral thatch ceilings offers comfortable seating in the lounge and bar leading to dining areas, decks and beautiful views of the bay. An outdoor enclosure (boma) for drinks and great conversation around a warming fire can be enjoyed. The Beach Bar next to the pool and deck is open all day and fabulous place to enjoy and relax before an afternoon siesta.
Simply relax and soak up the sun or participate in a variety of activities available exploring the deep channels around Inhaca Island, the bay and estuaries, dune forest and some of the local attractions.
The Rooms
Ocean View Rooms – Each room has an en suite bathroom, air conditioning, mosquito nets, and private deck, with a view to the ocean and Inhaca Island. Each room can accommodate a maximum of 2 adults and 2 children under the age of 12. Mini bar, air-conditioning, fan, Hairdryer, Coffee & Tea facilities in each room.

Most guests choose the luxury speed boat transfers. Only one hour away from Maputo, the boat ride is exciting and leads you around the picturesque Inhaca Island and the estuaries of Maputo Bay.
