To and from Imagine Africa Luxury Tented Camp…

Hoedspruit (Eastgate) Airport is approx. 40 mins drive,
Phalaborwa Airport is approx. 50 mins drive,
and KMIA (Kruger Mpumalanga International Airport) is approx. 3 hours drive.

We are able to organise road transfers to and from these airports to Imagine Africa Luxury Tented Camp. Inter-lodge road transfers services can also be arrange should you need to be collected from or dropped off at another lodge.

Vehicle rental may be the most economical way to travel to Imagine Africa and back to Johannesburg, however the drive is approx. 5 hours. It would depend on the number of days you need to rent the vehicle before returning to point of pick, otherwise a drop off fee is applicable.

Public Road Shuttles are scheduled according to demand therefore booking direct is better. Travelling on more popular days attract the lower rates. Clients are advised to consider this when making their travel arrangements. Departures are usually early morning from your destination and the duration is approx. 6 hours. Click here to book direct.

For self-drive there are two main routes to choose from when travelling from OR Tambo International Airport to Olifants West Nature Reserve Gate and thereafter Imagine Africa Luxury Tented Camp. Kindly find links below for detailed directions:

Once you have entered Olifants West Gate kindly follow the Olifants road from the gate for approx. 3 km until you reach our Imagine Africa – Luxury Tented Camp sign turning to your right. Follow the signs to the lodge from here. Map for directions once in the Reserve is provided in detail below. We look forward to welcoming you!

PLEASE NOTE: A conservation levy per vehicle and per person will be charged in cash or by credit card on entering the reserve by the Balule Conservancy which goes towards the conservation of the Reserve. The vehicle levy is already covered should you be utilizing our road transfer services; however, this unfortunately does not apply to the public road shuttle services.
