Die Lodge bietet nicht nur eine atemberaubende Aussicht und eine wunderschöne Umgebung, sondern auch ein äußerst familiäres Ambiente, das den Aufenthalt besonders angenehm macht. Das Essen war einfach fantastisch – jede Mahlzeit war ein Genuss. Unsere Gastgeberin Lany war unglaublich aufmerksam und super nett, sie hat sich wirklich um alle Gäste gekümmert und dafür gesorgt, dass wir uns wie zu Hause fühlten. Ein weiteres Highlight waren die zwei täglichen Gamedrives. Die Guides waren hervorragend und verfügten über ein beeindruckendes Wissen über die Tierwelt. Wir haben so viele Tiere gesehen, dass es fast unglaublich war! Danke Victor und Hendrik! Insgesamt war es eine traumhafte Erfahrung, die ich jedem Tierliebhaber und Naturliebhaber nur ans Herz legen kann. Ich freue mich schon auf meinen nächsten Besuch! 😞 - None

We had a wonderful time at Imagine Africa for 4 nights in August. The staff are all lovely and extremely accommodating. Every meal we had was exceptional, the game drives were always lively and exciting. We saw all the big 5 and tons more, leopard, hyena, many elephants, many giraffe, zebra, lots of lions, wild dogs, more different things than we can fit in the review. We celebrated our honeymoon here and the staff left us a nice present to help use celebrate as well. We couldn’t be happier with our stay, and can’t wait to come back. Every little thing is accounted for and it honestly felt like being at home, you don’t have to worry about a thing once you pull up to the camp. Don’t worry about continuing to research camps in South Africa. I can’t ’imagine’ it being any nicer elsewhere.

The best experience I don’t know where to begin describing how much we loved our stay at the Imagine Africa. Everything was just perfect, starting from the beautiful rooms, the fantastic food to thw amazing staff. We loved our game drives with Hendrik and Ability. We really hope to visit again soon!

Absolutely fantastic! The lodge is three years old and beautifully designed. It can accommodate a maximum of ten guests, which makes you very personal and warmly looked after and cared for. The tents leave nothing to be desired, the game drives were great. We spent four days at the lodge and we didn't get bored. Currently, a small gym is being finished so that you can train during the day. I would like to highlight the excellent food. I can also highly recommend the massages.

Best of the best . Beautiful please and people. The guides are verre good and the accomodation is heaven, luxere rooms and a assom kitchen. The safari with jeeps are en adventure and they find all the animals. A place where you live as a King. For me 10/10.

Semplicemente fantastico, siamo stati in questa location ad Agosto 2024 per le nostre vacanze estive dopo esser stati a CITTA' DEL CAPO e volendo fare una riserva prima di entrare nella parte più centrale del KRUGER. Siamo stati 2 notti a IMAGINE AFRICA e vale tutti i soldi che vengono spesi.- Location e camere curatissime. Esclusività e massima privacy.- Cucina davvero ottima e lo dico da Italiano abbiamo mangiato ogni colazione/pranzo/cena come ad un ristorante di alto livello Italiano.- Personale cordiale e disponibile a ogni richiesta.Nota di merito ai GAME DRIVE, i nostri 2 tracker (Sidweel) + driver (Hendrick) hanno reso la nostra vacanza in Sudafrica indimenticabile. Incontri davvero ravvicinati con tutti gli animali più richiesti (gruppi di leoni, vista anche scena di caccia, elefanti, giraffe, leopardo visto 2 volte in 4 game drive, rinoceronti, zebre ...) avendo fatto poi anche SELF-DRIVE nel parco KRUGER posso dire che l'esperienza della riserva ti da la possibilità di vivere senza preoccupazioni il tutto. Inoltre rispetto agli altri driver della riserva, Hendrick e Sidwell cercavano davvero sempre di farci arrivare nella posizione migliore per vedere e fotografare animali e scene. Momenti unici e indimenticabili. Sempre rimasti fuori oltre le 3 ore sia al mattino che la sera.Unico appunto alla struttura è quello che sarebbe bello che la piscina fosse riscaldata, altrimenti inutilizzabile in inverno, e che le bevande durante i pasti e nei game drive fossero incluse dato che comunque il prezzo dell'alloggio è importante ed è proprio ''brutto'' che nella forma ALL INCLUSIVE vi sia poi qualcosa di escluso.Enormi complimenti alla struttura e un grazie particolare a Hendrick e Sidweel.

July 2024 we stayed for our second time at Imagine Africa. The accommodation is excellent with a very friendly staf. We food is very good and the game drives excellent. We were very lucky both times and had several big five encounters and many other general game. The view from the main deck is lovely and we saw elephants during breakfast en lunch several times. We can't wait to be back in 2025!

Excellent Stay! Everything was perfect. The camp, the room, the safari drives (tours), the food was excellent, and the best of all was the people. The service was great and they were very kind with us. The stay was perfect. 100% recommended.

Absolut fantastisch!Die Lodge ist dreijährig und wunderschön gestaltet. Sie bietet Platz für maximal zehn Gäste, wodurch man sehr persönlich und herzlich betreut und umsorgt wird.Die Zelte lassen keine Wünsche übrig, die Game Drives waren toll. Wir verbrachten vier Tage in der Lodge und es wurde uns nicht langweilig.Derzeit wird noch ein kleines Gym fertig eingerichtet, sodass man tagsüber etwas trainieren kann.Ganz besonders hervorheben möchte ich das exzellente Essen. Zudem kann ich die Massagen wärmstens empfehlen.

Prima esperienza safari indimenticabile! Thanks you all-hotel nuovissimo, curato nei dettagli con arredamento e complementi in stile africano. La pozza d'acqua in cui si abbeverano gli animali è a 15m dal tavolone del pranzo, abbiamo visto gli elefanti 2 volte al giorno tutti i giorni, durante i pasti o il relax in piscina (acqua fredda d'inverno). Tende molto spaziose e arredate con gusto, privacy assoluta, dettagli e finiture curati (lo dico da architetto);-ottime le guide per i safari, estremamente competenti sul comportamento degli animali, e sulla guida off-road: sono stati capaci di portarci sempre molto vicino agli animali in tutta sicurezza;-il personale molto gentile e sempre disponibile a rispondere alle nostre domande e curiosità o semplicemente a fermarsi a chiacchierare, senza risultare mai invadente. Ci siamo sentiti ben accolti: pochi ospiti (10 al massimo) e alcune semplici attenzioni, come chiamarci sempre per nome, hanno reso l'esperienza più familiare, meno formale e distaccata-cucina di prima classe, complimenti allo chef: cibi locali, sempre vari, preparati e spiegati con passione. Camerieri attenti e competenti, stupito da alcune accortezze del galateo;Consigliatissimo,Un saluto da Lugano.

Ongelooflijk goede lodge. Alles voorzien. Vriendelijke staf, voor alles wordt gezorgd. Heerlijk eten. Vegan, vegetarisch, vlees, met alle vragen wordt rekening gehouden. Supergoeie gidsen met veel degelijke uitleg. Ze zorgen ervoor dat je alles ziet wat mogelijk is. Alles ook mooi verzorgd. Zeer attente eigenaar ook. Beter dan dit kan het niet zijn!

Imagine Africa is the most magical place on earth. On the game drives we saw an unbelievable amount and variety of animals and the experienced guides and trackers were second to none. Hendrick and Victor are honestly the best trackers out there! The accommodation is beautiful and the food and service exceptional. The camp is small in numbers which allows for a more intimate experience and the chance to get to know the other guests. I cannot recommend this place highly enough. Thank you to the whole team at Imagine Africa you guys are incredible!

Better than the best reviews I don't have the words to describe our 3 night / 6 game drive experience. I read all the reviews, and to be honest, they don't capture the true essence of Imagine Africa. The guides/trackers/hosts/cooks/staff were all skilled, friendly, and great at their jobs. We loved the "tents" where we stayed (aircon/USB plugs/great mattresses), we loved the food (near Michelin quality), we loved the game drives (we saw every singe animal from up close). Thanks to everyone for a dream holiday.

Just spent 4 days and nights at the Amazing Imagine Africa Luxury Tented Camp. We all (party of 6) can’t say enough great things about the Camp, the Staff, the Facilities, the food, and most of all the Game Drives with Amazing Guides (Hendrix, Victor). A taste of paradise in the heart of nature As the first leg of our African adventure ends, words cannot do justice to how we blesed we all feel. A lifetime memory made extra special by our hosts at the exceptional Imagine Africa. A small family run lodge in the heart of Kruger National park, that felt like a home away from home, yet simultaneously hosting a kaleidoscope of magical experiences that showcase the absolute delights Mother Nature has to offer. I would describe Imagine Africa as beautiful and authentic, yet still feeling understated but balanced with a subtle feeling of being pampered and cared for. Imagine Africa are a small group of hosts who were genuinely interested in making new friends and doing their utmost to make your experience in the bush, as exhilarating and memorable as you could possibly imagine. The game drives were exceptional. Our wonderful guides Hendrick and Victor were passionate, knowledgeable and pleasant and you felt completely at ease in their company as you venture into the bush. The safari completely surpassed our expectations and we got up close and personal to all the major wild animals we had hoped to catch sight of and much, much more besides. The game drives have created a lifetime of memories we will forever cherish and our young boys were so sad to leave. It can be quite cold in the mornings given its winter time, but we were well looked after well, with blankets and hot water bottles kindly provided! The pursuit of a leopard to get a close sighting was exhilarating and testament to our guides skill and know how. It was the small personal gestures and magical touches that made staying at Imagine Africa feel so wonderful. From the melodic beat of the African drum to announce dinner was served, to the regular ‘visitors’ to the watering hole they have kindly provided for the local wildlife, with the majestic elephants, giraffes and Impala’s all gracing us with their presence. Herman also engineered an impromptu African drum session with our boys one evening! Our lovely hosts were always attentive to our needs and always were ready to go the extra mile for our young boys, making them feel special and conjuring up alternative menu options if required. The absolutely delightful and ever smiling Lanie always made them feel special and ready to conjure up a hot chocolate or two, and was equally charming with all the guests. A special mention of thanks for organizing an impromptu romantic dinner on the deck of our room, made even more special by the elephant nonchalantly passing by amongst the Savannah as we tucked into our sumptuous ostrich steak. Each meal was a mix of sumptuous culinary delights, prepared by the charming chef Orlando. The slow cooked smoked lamb served against a backdrop of a roaring fire and Ostrich steak were my particular favourite’s, and of course accompanied and complemented by sampling copious amounts of glorious South African wine😀 The lodge is described as luxury tents, but had the feeling and aura of a chic and luxurious cabin. Well presented, very comfortable and tastefully decorated. There is an outdoor bath and shower if you want to maximize your experience of the great outdoors, but for those more akin to their creature comforts, rest assured there is a lovely and powerful indoor shower, not to mention it being air conditioned so you can feel as comfortable as possible. Every morning as you pull back the curtains, there is always the possibility of witnessing a wildlife arrival to greet you. On the final morning we had a cluster of vibrant impala’s adorning the Savannah. Everything runs like clockwork and all of the staff are so friendly, warm and polite. Imagine Africa is very professionally managed and run by the charming Gary and Herman. They both clearly have an intense passion for living life amongst nature and the wild animals that adorn it. They can share many entertaining stories, if you visit ask Gary about his adventure being chased by a hippo! Initially we were looking to book a more well renowned lodge but that did not work out and we are so eternally grateful that was the case. Our stay with Imagine Africa was so pleasurable and memorable in a manner which heightened our experience beyond belief and surpassed all our expectations. It is difficult to comprehend that anywhere else would have been as intimate and special, there was a magical ambience about Imagine Africa that is difficult to convey in words, that felt like a taste of paradise in the heart of nature. Their motto is ‘Guided by experience and driven by passion’. It’s not just a slogan, it’s their guiding star and way of life. I would thoroughly and wholeheartedly recommend staying if visiting Kruger National park, it’s an amazing experience to behold and one we will never ever forget.

Best Safari in Balule!!! Imagine a modern contemporary designer's lodge, set amidst the bush with the silhouette of mountains in the backdrop. Hosted by the nicest people possible, with the opportunity to see lions, leopards, white & black rhinos, wild dogs, hyenas and many more up close! This is Imagine Africa! We spent 4 nights at Imagine Africa in Nov 2024 and were absolutely in awe of the place. The lodge is really new just being 2-3 yrs old, and very tastefully done up. The owners swing by now and then, and had put in much thought into its design. We were received by Lani (front of house) upon arrival and shown to our tents. The luxury tent was beautiful and was one of the best accomodation we had stayed in all over the world. Tip: take an outdoor shower or bath when you're there, it is amazing! We had 2 game drives a day with our guide Hendrick and tracker Victor, who are some of the best when it comes to finding animals. We were constantly amazed at their skills in finding animals (they found us the super rare black rhino, wild dogs and lion cubs), and were amused by their stories from the time in the bush. Back at the lodge, Lani, Gary, Chef Orlanda and team took impeccable care of us. The food was always plentiful and delicious, drinks were constantly served, and the staff treated you just like family. We absolutely loved our time there and would be back in a heartbeat!

Einfach unbeschreiblich. Wir hätten uns keine bessere Unterkunft vorstellen können.Angefangen von unfassbar freundlichen - aber niemals aufdringlichen Personal - die sich um jeden Wunsch gekümmert haben.Ein Highlight waren neben der Hotel Anlage, dem Essen aber auf jeden Fall die Game drives! Hier ist man mit zwei Guides in einem sehr komfortablen und offenen Safari Fahrzeug unterwegs: es wird sich sehr große Mühe beim finden der Tiere gegeben und fährt auch mal offroad. Dabei respektieren die Guides stets die Natur und die Tiere! Wir waren selten so beeindruckt von einer Tour. Bei kaltem Wetter wurde sogar an Wärmflaschen gedacht.

Le cadre est tout simplement merveilleux, et les lodges sont aménagés avec beaucoup de goût et un grand souci du détail, ce qui rend l'expérience encore plus mémorable. La cuisine est un vrai délice, avec des plats savoureux qui ajoutent au plaisir du séjour. Partager les repas avec les autres voyageurs rend également l'expérience conviviale et permet de créer de beaux souvenirs ensemble. C'est un endroit parfait pour se déconnecter et se ressourcer ; nous remercions toute l’équipe et recommandons cet endroit sans hésitation !

We had an amazing view of the watering hole from our deck where we were lucky enough to see zebra, giraffe and many antelope. The food was also fantastic. While all staff we encountered were an absolute pleasure we must give a special shout out to Hendrick who went out of his way to ensure we had amazing game drives each day. I certainly did not expect to see a pride of lions devouring a giraffe on our first drive! I was also lucky enough to see a honey badger which was a personal highlight. Thank you to the whole team for a wonderful experience.

Half augustus verbleven wij in deze fantastische lodge samen met onze zonen van 18 en 23jaar.||Ons verblijf in de safarilodge was een onvergetelijke ervaring, ver boven onze wildste verwachtingen. Vanaf het moment dat we arriveerden, werden we hartelijk ontvangen door het vriendelijke personeel, die ervoor zorgden dat we ons onmiddellijk welkom voelden. Het binnenstappen in de lodge was een ware openbaring – de locatie midden in de wildernis, gecombineerd met een ongekende luxe en verfijnde uitstraling, blies ons direct weg.||||De accommodatie zelf was van alle gemakken voorzien en ontbrak aan niets. Elke ruimte was met zorg en aandacht voor detail ingericht, wat bijdroeg aan een gevoel van exclusiviteit en comfort. We voelden ons de koning te rijk in onze luxueuze kamer, die uitkeek op de adembenemende, ongerepte natuur.||||Gedurende ons verblijf werden we continu in de watten gelegd. Elk moment van de dag stond het personeel klaar om ons te verwennen met heerlijke gerechten en uitstekende service. Het eten was een culinair hoogtepunt; elke maaltijd was verzorgd en overheerlijk!||||De hoogtepunten van onze safari waren de game drives onder leiding van onze ervaren ranger Hendrik en tracker Victor. Voor de koude ochtenden bezorgden ze ons een dekentje én een warm waterkruik! Hun kennis, passie en enthousiasme voor de natuur en de dieren waren aanstekelijk en maakten elke uitstap spannend. We hadden het geluk om een verscheidenheid aan wildlife én de BIG 5 te spotten, wat elke rit opnieuw een avontuur maakte. ||||Dit verblijf is een absolute aanrader voor iedereen die droomt van een luxe safarivakantie die zowel ontspannend als avontuurlijk is. The location, facilities, rooms and food were absolutely amazing. The staff went above and beyond with special mention to Lani, front of house and our driver Hendricks and Victor our tracker who happily shared their wealth of knowledge about the animals and the area, told us great stories and made our stay truly memorable through their friendliness and welcoming attitude. The twice daily game drives ensured we saw the big 5 and so many more animals. We loved our stay and thoroughly recommend this camp. Just book it, you wont be disappointed.
